Overview
Anazette W. Ray is a Principal at Zetlin & De Chiara LLP. She brings a wealth of experience representing architects and engineers in a wide variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining Zetlin & De Chiara, Ms. Ray worked at a boutique litigation firm where she handled all aspects of complex construction litigation on the trial court and appellate levels in representing architects and engineers in the defense of professional malpractice and general litigation matters. Ms. Ray established a successful record of defending her clients in numerous forums, including state and federal court, mediation, arbitrations, and hearings. Representative claims that Ms. Ray has handled include: condominium defect cases, critical path delay claims, errors and omissions claims, and contract disputes.
Ms. Ray was selected to the 2021 Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation's Emerging Leaders program. She was featured in both the New York Real Estate Journal's 2020 and Best Lawyers Ones to Watch lists. Ms. Ray was selected by the Women Builders Council (WBC) as one of WBC's 2023 Outstanding Women. She spends her time performing community outreach and activism in her town of Howell, New Jersey through Howell NJ First.

Anazette Ray, an Associate in Zetlin & De Chiara's New Jersey office has been selected to participate in the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation’s Spring 2021 Emerging Leaders Program. The program, entitled Perseverance, Power, Politics brings together peers from architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, law and financial services with senior women in the field to explore ways of advancing their careers. Participants share common goals and trade personal strategies for success.
