Overview
Construction projects often involve intellectual property law, including issues related to copyright protection for architectural works and other project documents. All participants in a construction project need to understand their respective rights and responsibilities. Protecting intellectual property rights is critical, especially in light of new technologies such as, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
