New York, NY (February 3, 2017) – Zetlin & De Chiara Managing Partner Michael J. Vardaro, LEED AP, joined Patricia Harris, LEED AP, CEO and Founder of LicenseSure, on Monday, January  30th to discuss “Multijurisdictional Practices: An Exploration of the Financial, Legal and Marketing Issues related to Providing Services through Multiple Entities” at the 2017 winter meeting of the New York Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, CFO Forum.

The discussion addressed the practical implications of individual state laws and regulatory board rules that apply to firms providing professional services in multiple jurisdictions, in addition to the financial, marketing and branding issues that these firms face. Multijurisdictional practice challenges such as requirements for authorization that impact ownership, director and officer structures; signing, sealing and stamping drawings; creating cohesive branding  and marketing programs; and management of payroll and benefits were explored.
