We were retained by our client to negotiate a massive $1 billion mixed-use project in Qatar.

We negotiated this prime contract with the government and prepared subcontracts and amendments for this innovative coastal green infrastructure project that is designed to reduce or reverse erosion and damage from storm waves, improve ecosystem health, and overall enhance people's experience of the shoreline of southern Staten Island.

We represented a hydro-geological firm in a dispute concerning the development of a water source for municipal water supply.

We represented performance bond sureties in connection with the takeover and completion of several major projects from defaulting contractors.

We represented a client in a matter involving allegations of design negligence exceeding $30 million in damages for delays and cost overruns in connection with the design of a highway/bridge project.

We defended an international architectural and engineering firm against allegations of design negligence exceeding $50 million in damages in connection with the design and construction of a highway/bridge project in New Jersey. 

We are representing the owner of multiple lots and buildings in Long Island City.

We represented a construction manager with a design sub-consultant in a multi-million dollar dispute over the design and construction of a wireless communications system to service a major transportation center in Manhattan.

Zetlin & De Chiara represents the team leader/landscape architect of record for the award-winning Living Breakwaters in-water infrastructure and on-shore education and outreach project for Tottenville, Staten Island, in the review and negotiation of its professional service contracts with the NYS Governor's Office of Storm Recovery and its numerous subcontracts and amendments with its ecological and engineering consultants for the project. 

We obtained a favorable jury verdict for an internationally acclaimed engineering firm in a trial that lasted over six weeks in connection with the collapse of a public roadways supported by piers at a marine facility.  

We prevailed in state court and again on appeal in obtaining the discharge of a mechanic's lien placed on a public transportation facility that was leased to our private developer client.

We served as lead counsel for engineering firm in a case alleging various defects with the design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant.
