Zetlin & De Chiara LLP Welcomes James G. Papadakis
James G. Papadakis has joined Zetlin & De Chiara in its New York office. Mr. Papadakis’s litigation practice concentrates on complex business disputes involving construction, insurance, and property matters. He represents construction industry clients in breach of contract, extra work and construction defects, insurance issues, as well as collections work involving mechanic's liens and payment bonds.
While in law school James clerked at the International Chamber of Commerce, International Court of Arbitration ("ICC Court of Arbitration") and served as a judicial extern to Magistrate Michael A. Shipp in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to practicing law, James worked in the management solutions group at Zurich North America, a large insurance company.
He received an LL.M from Fordham Law School, his J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. from Binghamton University.
