From the largest corporations, to small businesses and individuals, Women Builders Council (WBC) is inspiring New Yorkers to become change agents for the achievement of equality for all. Building upon the United Nation’s ground breaking “HeForShe” campaign, WBC is partnering with key construction industry decision makers to affirm their commitment to gender equality, as well as increasing diversity and the role of women in the construction industry.
Formed in 2017 by Women Builders Council and the United Nations, WeforShe unites men and women throughout the construction industry to create a more inclusive workplace. Women Builders Council provides a dynamic forum that advances industry knowledge, addresses the barriers that prevent women from growing, and facilitates solutions for policy makers and industry leaders.
