Wrongful Death Claim Defense Involving Construction of an Art Museum

We represented the structural engineer a art museum project against a wrongful death claim. Allegations were made that the design of the roof dunnage and supporting cat-walk for mechanical equipment was negligently performed. We successfully argued that the structural engineer was solely responsible in calculating the loads of the equipment that would be installed on the dunnage to support such equipment and not with the design of the roof.
