Dispute Between Design Build Contractor and Its Lead Designer
We represent and engineering design firm in a dispute with a Design-Build Contractor arising out of the public - private relationships (P3) that developed the replacement for one of the New York-metro-area's main bridges. The design-build contractor who bid upon this major renovation project with the input of our client, the lead design firm, claims – and our client disputes – that alleged, preliminary design errors resulted in plaintiff’s incurring additional costs in order to address those issues. The parties were unsuccessful in resolving their dispute mediation. They are now involved in litigation.
