Michael S Zetlin - AV Rated - Martindale-Hubbell

Raymond T. Mellon, a Senior Partner of Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, is a leading construction litigator and experienced trial lawyer with an extensive background in representing prominent architectural, engineering and contracting firms on business negotiations and in litigation. In addition to actively consulting with clients on general business matters, construction contract drafting and negotiation, and risk management strategies, Mr. Mellon has successfully represented many design professionals in disciplinary and licensing proceedings before the City and State of New York. Mr. Mellon has also successfully represented some of the largest developers in the United States and advises owners, developers, engineers, architects, construction managers, contractors and other parties in the construction industry.

Mr. Mellon has held the notable AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1996, and has been named a New York Super Lawyer in the practice area of construction litigation by Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Mellon is consistently recognized for his contributions and legal service to the design community and the profession of architecture. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Presidential Citation from the Society of American Registered Architects and most recently received the New York Society of Architects Distinguished Service Award. Additionally, Mr. Mellon has been named an Honorary AIA member of the Brooklyn AIA Chapter and Honorary AIA member of the New York State AIA.

Mr. Mellon served as Articles Editor for the Hofstra Law Review while attending Hofstra University School of Law.
